Where we scout
Country
We’re an Explorer Scout Group in south east England in the UK.
County
We’re in the county of Surrey which is south west of London. Surrey contains some fantastic countryside despite being so close to the capital.
District
Our Scouting District is Banstead located in the north east corner of Surrey. Banstead is located close to London yet retains its beautiful countryside.
Our unit has young people from not only Banstead but also surrounding areas - such as Tadworth, Epsom Downs, Walton-on-the-Hill, Epsom & Ewell!
When & Where do we meet?
We meet during school term times usually on a Tuesday evening between 8-10pm. The location, day and time we meet does sometimes differ depending on our Explorer programme and the activities planned, however we have a fixed scouting HQ in Epsom Downs/Tadworth that we meet at frequently. Our HQ has some great facilities so it is an amazing place for some of our meetings to be held.
As you have seen on this site we also do lots of adventurous activities including camping which sees us running camps and activities during the weekends and school holidays throughout the year!
